Caroline and I are taking a long weekend break in Guernsey, and I’m writing this from our hotel, the fabulous Fermain Valley hotel, at Fermain Bay….and the sun is actually shining!!  Our main reason for being here - and you’d better be sitting down for this - is to see ‘Eddie and the Hotrods’.  Caroline remembers seeing them first in her teens, when they were top of the pops with ‘Do Anything You Wanna Do’.  Since they reformed and came back ‘on the road’ we’ve seen them several times, and they are always good value.  So here we are…and the gig’s tomorrow night.  Report to follow…..
