Hot off the press - we’re tired, but very happy.  On one of the warmest days of the summer, we had fun and games, from 11am to 9.15pm, and managed to raise £2,700!!  So a very big THANK YOU to everyone who took part and made the day so special.  Not only the visitors, who helped raise such an astounding amount, but also all our helpers - car washers, cake stall minders, games organisers, music managers - everyone.  And of course a big thank you to all who donated items for the auction, which alone raised £1500.  so the great news is that, with all the ‘justgiving’ donations and previous fundraisers, the 3 lads have today raised £9,600.  And they needed to have paid the minimum of £9,200 required by this coming Friday….!  So well done, David, Nathan and Bam - this means you are definitely going!!   And….. onwards and upwards.  They are still wanting to achieve their personal ‘Team Nambodia’ goal of £15,000, and their next event is 26 September, a charity golf day, which includes 9 holes of golf, and a barbecue.  The donation is £15 minimum per person, all for Regain, the chosen charity.  So if you are interested, and can make it to Styal, Cheshire, then leave me a note below or call 07976 654429.  And if you want to comment or congratulate below, then I’m sure they’d appreciate it….meanwhile, here are the balloons we released, each with a sponsored name.  The one that travels farthest wins a prize - so far we’ve had a phone call from the Brecon Beacons!!
