I recently decided to download all my photos on my mobile phone, and thought some might be good to have on this blog, to give some idea of people and places in my life….

So, here’s Caroline, when we were in Brighton last December for our wedding anniversary:

Earlier this year David and I were at the Theatre of Dreams (Old Trafford) - this time to see United beat Hull, 4-3.  This is about 20 minutes before kick-off:

Though we are both keen on footie, our real passion is American Football.  We once went for the weekend (weekend only) to St Louis, Missouri, to see our two teams play each other - a lifetime’s experience.  Two years ago a commitment was made to play a proper league game (for the first time outside the States) in London - so that goes straight into the diary.  Two years ago it was the Giants v the Dolphins, and last year it was the Saints v the Chargers…

One of my sadder characteristics is that I keep lists…(don’t ask…!)  One is ‘things to do before…..’.  And I achieved one of these last year.  I’ve always wanted to visit the west coast of Ireland, and last year I ran a training programme in Galway - and took some time out to see the sea…

I travel around a lot, and having a good camera on a mobile phone is brilliant - I can take a photo of anything that is out of the ordinary, unusual, inspiring, or just funny.  This was taken on my way to run a course in Stockport.  I didn’t realise how tall the chimney was until I noticed the man on the ladder, which is nearly vertical….
