Watching: went to see The Proclaimers last night, at the Apollo in Manchester.  Brilliant, as usual.

Listening: As you may know, I’m a fan of ‘House MD’, and I think the music they choose, particularly to close, is brilliant.  I’ve tracked down the playlist from each episode, and I’m currently listening to StompinGrounds, by Joe Purdy, whose title track is one they use.  It’s a great album.  Gentle, really gentle, and what a fabulous voice.  Very spare, very sparse, fantastic late night music…
