Every so often - basically when the mood takes us - we decide to have summer party in our cul-de-sac.  It’s a pretty low key, spontaneous affair.  We get in a few casks of real ale, I make a summer punch, there’s music, quizzes, and barbecues - and that’s it.  Here’s some photos of this year’s event, which happened last week.  It began at noon on the Saturday, and, allowing for a few hours sleep, ended at about 9pm Sunday.  Great stuff… (the brollies were on standby in case it rained….)
