Well, we did it!  Just back from the walk, and one day was brilliant, and the other - wet, wet, wet!  All the photos are from day 1, which was Red Pike, along the Buttermere Ridge, and on to Haystacks, then down to the top of Honister Pass.  Day two (this morning) the group did the other half - Dale Head, Hindscarth and Robinson….and hardly saw a thing….but day 1 was as glorious as it could be - everything was crystal clear, and made every other wet attempt worth while….here are some of the pics from the first, fabulous day:
