The Ultimate Bike Ride…
Sat, Dec 20, 2008
David and Nathan announced this week that they’ve signed up for a charity bike ride from Vietnam to Cambodia in November next year. The ride starts in Saigon, ends in Angkor Wat, and covers 500 km in 7 days. The charity is Regain, offering support for sports tetraplegics. It’s a fabulous cause, and should be a great adventure. I’ll keep you all posted on their plans, events, and the ride itself.
They’re each committed to raising £4,000, which is no mean feat, especially when you realise as brothers they share many friends - and of course, relations!! If you’d like to donate, they’d be delighted. If you want to send a cheque, send it to me, as I’m holding funds until they get a dedicated account open. Make a cheque payable to Arnie Skelton, and send it to P O Box 52, Cheadle, SK8 3GL. We’ll acknowlege all contributions.
If you’d like to leave a message, with best wishes, or have your own fundraising ideas or experiences to share, please leave a comment at the foot of this page…
